Apartment LAN Build

This project outlines the design and implementation of a secure, high-performance LAN for my apartment, utilizing a Unifi Cloud Gateway, U7 Pro Max AP, and manually terminated CAT6 cabling for reliability. The network supports 10 Gbps connectivity and features segmented VLANs, advanced firewall configurations, VPN support, and self-hosted services to ensure privacy and flexibility. Emphasis was placed on scalability, security, and seamless connectivity to meet both current and future needs. The result is a robust, professionally configured home network tailored for efficiency, security, and control.

Custom Song Integration for Rock Band 3 (Wii)

This project focuses on integrating custom songs into Rock Band 3 for the Wii, allowing for expansion of the game’s music library with user-created content. By modifying game files and leveraging different tools, the project enables the ability to add and play custom tracks. Numerous technical difficulties were faced, including strict file and folder formats, managing niche audio files (.MOGG), downmixing audio to prevent stutters/crashes, and ensure accurate .dta formatting for each song. By overcoming these obstacles, the project not only enhances the game’s replayability but breathes new life into an old beloved title.
